THE DIVINE CHATROOM

The Divine Chatroom are doing things their way. In this 7 and a half minute short film directed by Ella Paterson, Aquinas (Ruumi) Chester (Baby Bruh) and Harrison (Taki) chat about their music, their practice and why it is so important to them right now being DIY. We follow them into the studio, around the streets and to one of their live shows at The Lass O'Gowrie, a Newcastle pillar of live music. Throughout, we listen as they delve into the importance of artistic autonomy, collaborating with each other between their multiple projects and others, and what The Divine Chatroom is. We also get an acute insight into how their hometown of Newcastle NSW shaped them and so many other musicians artistically, and the importance of the tight knit creative community there
